Our Mission
Our mission at Shared Stories Foundation is to create meaningful, long-term connections between donors and families in need by offering transparent, personal, and dignified support.
We believe that real change happens when people are seen, heard, and supported as individuals, not statistics. Through shared stories, clear monthly needs, and ongoing updates, we enable donors to walk alongside families on their journey toward stability, dignity, and hope.
By sharing real family stories, clearly outlining real monthly needs, and providing continuous updates, we allow donors to become part of each family’s journey, not just as supporters, but as partners in lasting change.
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something

About The Founder
Shared Stories Foundation was founded by Armelle, whose commitment to service began at the age of sixteen and has continued to shape her leadership and vision. What began as hands-on involvement in supporting vulnerable communities evolved into a deep understanding that meaningful change requires more than one-off assistance. It requires structure, accountability, and genuine human connection.
Through years of direct engagement with families and community initiatives, Armelle recognised the limitations of traditional charitable models that often prioritise short-term relief over long-term stability. She saw the need for a platform that bridges the gap between donors and families in a way that is transparent, dignified, and sustainable.
Shared Stories Foundation was created from this conviction. Armelle’s vision is to build a model of giving rooted in partnership rather than distance, where donors are not simply contributors, but consistent participants in a family’s journey toward stability and independence.
She remains personally and deeply involved in the lives of the families supported by the foundation. Her leadership is relational and hands-on, ensuring that each family is known, supported, and treated with respect.
